VOCAL trio Said The Maiden will be embarking on a pub crawl from 8pm tomorrow night (Friday) - all in aid of publicising MusicCity Unsigned 2, at the Alban Arena next Saturday, March 16.

Still buzzing from the success of supporting Fisherman’s Friends at the Arena in February, the all-girl folk group will attempt to perform a few songs at eight different venues.

They will start at The Boot before going on to The Fighting Cocks, The Goat, The White Lion, The Garibaldi, The White Hart Tap, The Farmer’s Boy and The Horn at roughly half-hour intervals.

Over 700 people have voted on Lemonrock for their favourite local unsigned bands and the top four will be playing at MusicCity Unsigned 2 at the Arena from 7.30pm next Saturday.

Said The Maiden will be joined by Waiting for Katherine, Jegisus and Chameleon Boy with The Horn supplying the tunes and keeping the music flowing between sets. The music pub will also be hosting the after-show party with this year’s runners up Tranquil Fury.

Admission is £5 with additional limited edition tickets at £7.50 (which includes the aftershow party at The Horn). They are available from the Arena box office on 01727 844488 or online at www.alban-arena.co.uk

The show goes from Tina’s early days with Ike with songs such as River Deep, Mountain High through to Tina’s solo comeback in the 80s with a cover of the Al Green classic, Let’s Stay Together. The evening will also feature the star’s iconic solo hits from Simply The Best through to What’s Love Got To Do With It.
