POPULAR local cellist Michael Wigram brings the Amalia Trio together for the lunchtime concert at a city centre church next Wednesday, May 2.
Michael is well known for his impressive solo work and for playing in professional groups such as the South Bank Symphonia. Joining him will be Jennifer Wigram, leader of several local orchestras, and Lynn Carter, a recent solo pianist in the series.
Their programme will include Mendelssohn’s D minor Piano trio (op. 49, no,1) and Vivaldi’s cello sonata no. 2 in F major.
The free concert is at St Peter’s Church in St Albans and starts at 1pm with proceeds in aid of Grove House.
