Accomplished recitalist, teacher and accompanist Lynn Carter will be the piano soloist in a lunchtime performance at a city centre church next Wednesday, May 21.
Lynn frequently performs as a soloist and in ensembles for concerts and festivals at home and abroad.
She has played at the Purcell Room on the South Bank, St James’ Piccadilly, London, Brecon Cathedral in Wales and in Finland and Singapore.
Lynn’s programme will include JS Bach’s Italian Concerto, and Busoni’s arrangement of his Chaconne in D Minor, together with Two Ballades by Brahms and the Grand Gallop Chromatique by Franz Liszt.
The free concert at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, begins at 1pm with a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
