RISING young star Lisa Ueda is performing next Wednesday's lunchtime concert at St Peter's Church in St Albans.
Lisa graduated with First Class Honours from the Royal Academy of Music in London on a full Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music International Scholarship, studying with Richard Deakin.
She made her debut last year playing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Sachio Fujioka.
She is now working towards her Masters degree on a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Music.
Lisa will be accompanied by Alison Procter on piano for the free concert which starts at 1pm and is in aid of Grove House.
