INTERNATIONAL pianist Klaus Sticken is giving next Wednesday's lunchtime concert at St Peter's Church in St Albans.
Based in Vienna, Klaus has more than 10 year experience at such venues as the Tonhalle Zurich, the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow, the Kiev Philharmonie and the Musichalle in Hamburg.
He has taken part in competitions in Switzerland and Japan and visited China giving concerts at the end of last year.
His programme at the recital which begins at 1pm will include Bach's Partita No 4 in D major, Ravel's Valses Nobles et Sentimentales and Prokofiev's Sonata No 1 in D Minor.
The concert is free but there will be a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
