LEON Greening and his Trio are coming to the Herts Jazz Club on Sunday evening.
Leon, who is regarded as one of the finest pianists this country has ever produced, has performed at Ronnie Scott’s and with the Christian Brewer quartet, Matt Wates Sextet, Gareth Lockrane Septet and toured with pop band Incognito.
He will be joined at the club at Campus West in Welwyn Garden City by Michael Janisch on bass and Steve Brown on drums – together they have just released their debut CD Cookin’ in Brooklyn.
The evening gets underway at 7.45pm and tickets are �10 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw, �12 on the door and �5 for students and under 21s.
