INFLUENTIAL artist Frederick Lord Leighton is the subject of a lecture by Jane Kelsall at The Radlett Centre next Thursday, August 12.
Jane will be giving the lecture to Radlett Art Society at 8pm after it had to be cancelled in January.
Lord Leighton, whose work is being increasingly recognised, raised the profile of sculpture in particular and after his death, the Leighton Fund was set up to purchase and commission works of art for public places. He studied almost entirely in Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.
Admission is free to members and 5 to non-members.
