Lunchtime recitals at a city centre church begin again next Wednesday, September 17, with international concert pianist Klaus Sticken.
Based in Vienna, Klaus has experience of such venues as the Tonhalle Zurich, the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow,the Kiev Philharmonie and the Musichalle in Hamburg.
His programme at St Peter’s Church in St Albans will include Mozart’s Rondo in A minor K.511, Richard Strauss’s Five Klavierstücke (Piano Pieces) opus 3, and Franz Schubert’s Wanderer-Fantasy in C major,D.760.
The free concerts start at 1pm with a retiring collection in aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
