A WIDE variety of light and popular music will be played by Kevin Morgan at St Albans Organ Theatre on Saturday evening.

He will be playing on the theatre's Wurlitzer organ as well as demonstrating his ability at the concert grand piano.

Graduating as head chorister at Sherborne Abbey to organist and choirmaster of Bolton parish church, Kevin's love of the theatre pipe organ lured him towards the entertainment business and freelancing cabaret work on piano, electronic organ and theatre organ around the UK and overseas.

He has also spent some time playing cocktail piano on major cruise ships - somewhat unusual for a man who is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.

Tickets for the concert, which starts at the theatre in Camp Road at 7.45pm, are 8, available in advance by calling 01727 768652 or on the door on the night.
