ONE of the most prolific and creative saxophonists of the younger Slovene jazz generation, Jure Puki, is appearing at the Herts Jazz club on Sunday.
He has worked with artists such as Maceo Parker, Experanza Spalding and Aaron Goldberg as well as the European Jazz Orchestra and Vienna Saxophone Quartet.
Jure has created a unique type of modern jazz giving prominence to the interplay between band members.
Playing with Jure will be Jim Hart on vibes, Michael Janisch on bass and Herbert Pirker on drums and the evening at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City gets underway at 7.45pm.
Tickets are �13 on the door, �11 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw and �5 for students and under 21s.
