A VISITING choir from Sardinia sang at St Albans Abbey last Saturday morning.
Donato Pepe, vice-chairman of the Italian Association in St Albans, had arranged for the 52-strong touring choir, The Corale Lorenzo Perosi of Selargius, to stop off at the cathedral to give a recital for charity.
Mr Pepe, aged 56, of Hedley Road, St Albans, said: "They were members of a church near Cagliari who had been invited to sing in Watford."
Donations will go towards Cancer Research and Children of Rwanda.
