A NEW group featuring several well-known local musicians are playing next week’s Wednesday lunchtime concert at a city centre church.
The Icknield Ensemble includes Anna Le Hair (piano), Arwen Newband (violin), Nicholas Turner (viola), Sarah Boxall (cello) and Nick Mason (bass).
Their debut on June 5 will feature Schubert’s Trout Quintet.
The concert begins at 1pm at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, and there will be a retiring collection for Grove House.
