STUDENTS from a college in Hitchin will be performing works by Chopin and Mozart as well as contemporary music in the lunchtime concert at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, next Wednesday, March 16.
The youngsters from Princess Helena College, aged from 11 to 18, will be performing piano, violin and vocal solos as well as flute ensembles and choral pieces.
One of their pianists is playing Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu and there will be Laudate Dominum and Voi che sapete by Mozart among other items.
The concert, which is free, starts at 1pm and there will be a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
