STUDENTS from Princess Helena College, in Hitchin will be performing works from Handel to Jerome Kern, with others in between, at the lunchtime concert at a city centre church next Wednesday, December 5.
The concert will include performers aged from 12 to 18, with piano, cello, violin, flute and vocal solos as well as a chamber group and choral pieces.
A violin soloist will be playing a movement from Mozart’s Violin Concerto No 2 and there will be part of the Gloria by Vivaldi and Smoke Gets in Your Eyes by Jerome Kern.
The concert, which is free, is at St Peter’s Church, St Albans and starts at 1pm, with a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
