Clark Tracey has put together a new group to pay tribute to the sextet music of his father, Stan Tracey, which can been seen at Herts Jazz Club this Sunday, November 27.
Stan Tracey’s Hexad spans music from the early 1980s through the decades when the line-ups featured the likes of Don Weller, Guy Barker and Simon Allen.
Joining drummer Clark for the gig at the Hawthorne Theatre in Welwyn Garden City will be Chris Maddock, alto, Nadim Teimoori, tenor, Alex Ridout, trumpet, Ashley Henry, piano, and Daniel Casimir, bass.
The evening gets underway at 7.30pm and tickets in advance are £3 students/£10 members/£13 concessions/£14 full.
On the door they are £5 students/£12 members/£15 concessions/£16 full.
