GIRLS from an Irish dance school in Harpenden won numerous awards in a competition held in Hemel Hempstead recently.
Three members of the Murphy/Flaherty Irish Dance School were placed in the championship competitions as the feis – a traditional Gaelic arts and culture festival – including Grace Whipeourn who took first place in the under-five competition.
Niamh Budd took fourth place and Grace Bignell fifth place in the under-11 competition.
