STUDENTS of a dance school were out and about in Harpenden town centre to promote their show Good Heir Day which can be seen at the Public Halls from next Thursday, April 7.

Louise Sheaves Dance School has chosen Good Heir Day, which will showcase everything from ballet to tap and street dance, a story about a girl whose life is changed forever when she is told she is heir to the title of Lairdess of Castle McMaddy.

All proceeds from the show, which runs until next Saturday, April 9, with performances at 7pm with an additional Saturday matinee at 2pm, will be split between Great Ormond Street Hospital and Greenfingers, a charity dedicated to creating magical gardens for children’s hospices around the UK.

Principal of the school, Philippa O’Donovan, said: “The dedication of our pupils and the hard work of our volunteers in making this event happen has been incredible.”
