TICK Tock proved to be right on the clock when it came to winning a national award.
The Harpenden-based music group for children has been selected Best Local Activity for the Under 5s by the Whatson4littleones website in its 2010 awards which recognise the best activities and party entertainment for children across the UK.
Tick Tock beat 29 nominees to win the award which was voted for by parents. It was presented as a ceremony hosted by Phil Gallagher from Cbeebies Mister Make programme for finalists and sponsors.
Rachel Farrow, who runs Tick Tock in Harpenden, said: “I have been running classes in Harpenden for nearly six years and I’m delighted to be recognised at this prestigious event.”
She said she and her colleague Melissa O’Donnell loved working with the children and parents who attended their groups and were thrilled that so many of them had shown their support by voting in the awards.
