MUSIC from the likes of Lady Gaga, Michael Bubl� and Madonna is not normally heard at the Royal British Legion – but it was last Monday night.
Around 60 people were at the Legion for Funky Smooth Jive – two classes, one for beginners and then progressing to the more experienced.
They were taught by “Lazy” Dave Plummer who will be teaching a different routine every week but covering the basic technique so beginners can join any time.
The classes, which run every Monday throughout the summer, were followed by social dancing until 11pm when everyone had a chance to practice what they had learned.
