Top international chamber group Harmoniemusik are giving the lunchtime concert in a city centre church next Wednesday, May 22.
Their playing is well known for its distinctive blend and colour and the programme will include pieces for flute, clarinet, bassoon and piano.
The players include Janna Hüneke, Mark Lacey, Alec Forshaw and Paul Guinery, and among the composers will be music by Haydn, Langford, Poulenc, Lacombe and Rota.
The concert which starts at 1pm, will take place at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, and there will be a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
