TWO Guerilla Gigs are being held in the foyer of St Albans Town Hall as part of the Residents First Weekend.
From 11am to 1pm on Saturday, Bill Johnson and Richard Hignett will be representing The Horn’s Blue Angel Acoustic Cafe.
Bill is the host of the Blue Angel nights and an experienced local performer while Richard is a regular face at acoustic nights in and around St Albans.
During the same period on Sunday The Handymen and Garry Smith will be representing Redbourn Folk Club.
The Handymen are a trio of experienced musicans who play acoustic world music and traditional Irish instrumentals as well as experimenting in wider fields. Garry is a slide guitarist who plays a resonator guitar and concentrates on his own songs and the work of writers such as Tom Waits and Steve Earle.
