Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. will be playing while Rou and Lord Rolfe’s Shikari Sound System will perform a DJ set when the Pioneer Club hosts a charity concert in aid of the newly-formed St Albans and Philippines group (STAPH).
Tickets have gone on sale for the event at the club in Heathlands Drive, St Albans, from 7.30pm on Saturday, February 22.
Also booked to play are Engine Earz with a DJ set, Twosixones and Rob Lynch.
STAPH was formed last year by former St Albans MP Kerry Pollard in conjunction with the St Albans Filipino community who all have family affected by typhoon Haiyan.
Its aim is to raise funds towards rebuilding St Joseph’s School in Dagami Leyte, a remote area near Tacloban, after it was destroyed in the disaster.
Tickets for the over-18s gig are £10 and available on line from www.musicglue.com/pioneer-club or go to http://www.pioneerclub.co.uk/
