Music icon Georgie Fame brings his Blue Flames - and a string of hits - to the Alban Arena from 7.30pm next Sunday, May 17.

Georgie has been delivering albums for the past six decades. He and the Blue Flames started life as Billy Fury’s backing band before quitting in 1961 with piano player Georgie taking over as lead vocalist.

They enjoyed great success as a ska, blues, pop and jazz band with hits including Yeh Yeh, Get Away, Sunny, Sitting in the Park, Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde and Rosetta.

The Blue Flames current line-up includes Alec Dankworth, Alan Skidmore, Guy Barker, Anthony Kerr, Tristan P0well and James Powell.

The Octonauts make their stage debut this Spring and bring their Deep Sea Volcano Adventure to the Arena at 1pm and 4pm next Wednesday and Thursday, May 13 and 14.

Based on the hit CBeebies programme, it stars Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso as the entire crew of the Octonauts comes to life on stage for the very first time.

Tickets are £15.50 with concessions £2 off and a family ticket £54.

Tribute band, The Counterfeit Stones, return to the Arena at 8pm next Friday, May 15, with their latest shakedown, Grass Me Up.

They showcase all the biggest Rolling Stones hits from I Can’t Get No (Satisfaction) to Ruby Tuesday.

Robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada lives in the city of San Fransokyo, where his two closest companions are his older brother, Tadashi, and Baymax, a super-sized inflatable robot, whose sole purpose is to care for people.

When a devastating turn of events finds Hiro catapulted into the middle of a dangerous plot, he transforms Baymax and his other friends, Go Go Tamago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred, into a band of high tech heroes, who name their new super-group Big Hero 6.
