MAJORETTES, martial arts and singing brought a smile to the faces of residents at a fundraising day at Fosse House in St Albans.
The entertainment started off with a solo performance by Libby Prince from the St Albans Majorettes followed by Sally and Erik Golding with their display of tai chi and martial arts swords and fans.
Michael Maisey sang for an hour and got everyone up singing and dancing while the St Albans New Testament Church Gospel group gave a rousing performance.
Ending the day’s entertainment, the St Albans Operatic Society sang songs from their new show The Follies which will be performed this Autumn at the Alban Arena.
The fundraising day, which included stalls, raised just over £400.
