IMAGES inspired by a passion for French poster art go on display at The Radlett Centre for a month from next Tuesday, June 28.
They are the work of Belgium-born illustrator and printmaker Lesley Shaw who has French ancestry and whose work is frequently influenced by French poster art and images of the 1940s and 50s.
Her current work combines traditional drawing with digital collage and aims to blend the romance and beauty of a past era with the energy and reality of life today.
Lesley has undertaken a range of commissions with clients including BBC Radio 4 and The London Women’s Clinic in Harley Street while her work has been exhibited in a number of galleries.
The exhibition, entitled All Dressed Up, runs until July 29.
