Clint Eastwood’s adaptation of the Broadway and West End show Jersey Boys launches the Spring season of Harpenden Film Society next Thursday, January 15.
It is the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons.
Far from a mere tribute concert, Jersey Boys gets to the heart of the relationships at the centre of the group - with a special focus on frontman Frankie Valli, the small kid with the big falsetto voice.
The film is being shown at 8pm in Harpenden Public Halls. Tickets are £5 for non-members and £3.50 for members, available from www.harpendenfilmsociety.co.uk, WHSmith’s in Harpenden, the Public Halls and Godfrey’s Fish and Chips.
