AN EVENING of farce from the Victorian stage comes to the Radlett Centre next Wednesday, May 22.
National and international touring theatre group, European Arts Company, are putting on Four Farces from 8pm – Box and Cox, Wanted, A Young Lady, An Unwarrantable Intrusion and Duel in the Dark.
There is more than a hint of Monty Python and The Goons in the four plays which feature duelling pistols and thwarted lovers, double-crossing and cross-dressing and romance and intoxication.
The show stars celebrated farceur Richard Latham who in a long comic career has worked with Sir Brian Rix in his Whitehall Farces, as well as appearing with Alastair Sim in The Clandestine Marriage.
Tickets are £14 with concession £12, available from the box office on 01923 859291 or go to www.radlettcentre.co.uk
