FROM dinner-plate sized dahlias to giant marrows, local gardeners gave their all at two local flower and produce shows.
Both Colney Heath Autumn Show and St Stephens Gardening Club annual show were held on the same weekend and attracted hundreds of visitors and exhibitors.
As well as flowers, fruit and vegetables, the shows featured classes for cookery, art, technology, photography and handicraft.
Children were not forgotten either with a large number of entries for the children's section at Colney Heath supported by the local primary school and a special category for youngsters at St Stephens.
