TALENTED British artists are being matched online with people wanting bespoke pieces of art by a Flamstead woman who has set up her own website.
Jo Gourley Froome was prompted to set up CreateMyArt.com when she struggled to find the perfect piece of art when she moved home.
It features over 100 local and national artists including Katharina Kubrick, the daughter of the late film director Stanley Kubrick, an accomplished oil painter who lives on the Childwickbury Estate in St Albans.
As well as established artists, CreateMyArt.com also supports up-and-coming students from the UK’s top art schools. Katharina, who is also a patron of the website, said: “I am particularly delighted to be supporting CreateMyArt.com as the website actively supports young artists at a time when it’s incredibly hard to earn a living in the arts’ field.”
