HUSBAND and wife team David and Avril Morris are making it a family affair at the latest exhibition at a Harpenden gallery which ends today (Thursday).
David Morris is a prize-winner at the Royal Watercolour Society and paints with luminosity. He studied at Leeds College of Art and was lecturer in ceramics at Grimsby School of Art.
By contrast his wife Avril, whom he met at art school in the 1950s, paints quirky figurative subjects and still-lifes in acrylic, watercolour and pastel. She has exhibited with the American Watercolor Society and at the Mall Galleries in London with the Pastel Society.
Their work can be seen at the A&K Wilson Gallery in Station Approach, Harpenden.
