THE devastating consequences of a couple’s desperate desire to have a baby is at the heart of Falling Off A Log which is being performed at the Maltings Arts Theatre in St Albans this week.
Written by local writer Rebecca Russell and winner of Best Overall Production and Best New Play at this year’s Welwyn Drama Festival, it is being performed tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday night by Tidemark Theatre which specialises in new writing.
The play follows Chris and Ruth and the family tensions that lead to Ruth taking a drastic course of action that has tragic consequences.
The story is revealed through an interview process following an eight year police investigation and explores many levels of what is an emotional topic.
