The 36th annual St Albans Scout and Guide Gang Show opens tonight at the Alban Arena and runs until Saturday. The Herts Advertiser is running an exclusive blog from some of the 100 cast members during the production
Tonight’s the night (Wednesday) that the curtain goes up on this year’s St Albans Gang Show. I’m pretty nervous but also extremely excited to see the audience at the Alban Arena for the first time.
It’s my first year as a cast member. I came to watch the show last year and was really impressed so I went along to the audition and was lucky enough to get in. The rehearsals have been hard work, but very enjoyable especially over the past two weeks when I’ve seen everything come together.
When I joined the cast I only knew one or two people but being part of the gang has seen these friendships strengthen and I’ve made new friends on the way.
My friends and family will all be coming along to the show - and I hope they enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed being part of the gang.
