Snakes alive! Nothing beats a real-life serpent when it comes to publicising the next production by Radlett Light Opera Society.
They are putting on Children of Eden, a musical based on the book of Genesis, at the theatre from next Wednesday, May 13, to Saturday, May 16.
And as everyone knows, the story of Adam and Eve would not be complete without the snake that tempted Eve.
-Joining the snake, provided by Amey Zoo, was Eve, played by Anita Garai and Adam, Philip Jackson, as well as other cast members. Children of Eden concentrates on the stories of Adam and Eve and Noah and the Flood.
The show, which can be seen at 7.45pm each night with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm, promises heart-warming tunes as well as lots of animals. Tickets range from £15.50 to £16.50 with concessions available. They can be obtained from the Radlett Centre box office on 01923 859291.
