ELEPHANT Shelf will be trumpeting their own style of rocking rhythm'n'blues favourites when they appear at The Farmers Boy in London Road, St Albans, tonight (Thursday).

They will also be performing original music from their recently-released debut album from around 8.30pm. Admission is free.

Sunday afternoon sees the return of Whatevers Clever with Pat Cull and Steve Bedford playing a mix of well-loved classics from the last couple of decades. They will be kicking off from 1.30pm.

On Tuesday, Grae J. and The Jailbirds will be launching the pub's New Music Nights, playing a mix of country music raw and unadulterated.

And next Thursday, November 5, Five Man Woman will be making a return appearance.
