HIGHLY-successful comic Eddy Brimson headlines Funny First Mondays in the Waterend Barn, St Albans, next week.

Wide-ranging and thoughtful, he denies being pigeonholed and his talent has taken him to many major British and overseas comedy venues, including the Sydney Cracker Festival and a number of forays to Edinburgh.

Before becoming a much-in-demand comic, he was a familiar face on TV including appearing as the lout who turned over Frank Butcher’s car lot in EastEnders. As a writer, his seven bestselling books have won him a cult following among British and European football fans.

Joining Eddy will be Steve N Allen, returning to Funny First Mondays as a stand-up with a stock of topical and observational material and sure fire one-liners. His days as a local radio DJ in Herts have supplied him with much entertaining material.

MC on Monday will be Mike Manera and the show begins at 8pm. Tickets are 8 available through the website www.funnyfirstmondays.co.uk or on the door on the night.
