A talented young duo is giving the lunchtime recital at a city centre church next Wednesday, July 16.
They are viola player Isabel Bond and pianist Yoshiko Furukawa.
Isabel is a student at Nuremburg University and Yoshiko at the Münster University of Music. Both players have given concerts in several countries.
Their programme will include the first three movements of Bach’s Cello Suite No 6 in D Major, Rachmaninoff Vocalise op 34, Chopin Nocturnes Op. 27 Nos 1 and 2, and Brahms Sonata No 2 in E-flat major op.120.
The free concert at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, begins at 1pm and is in aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
