WELL-known local tenor Geoffrey Ward teams up with pianist Alexander Hall to give next Wednesday’s lunchtime concert at a city centre church.
Flowers and gardens will form the theme of their song recital entitled Flower Power II, and will include The Salley Gardens by Benjamin Britten and Come into the Garden, Maude by Michael Balfe.
Other songs will include those by Wolf, Ireland and Delius.
The concert on March 6 is at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, and starts at 1pm with a retiring collecton in aid of Grove House.
