PIANISTS Isabel Beyer and Harvey Dagul are performing a mysterious duet by Beethoven in the first of their 19th annual series of lunchtime recitals in St Albans.

It disappeared from the catalogues shortly after its publication but has since become well known in a different guise under a different title.

The concert will also include a set of variations by Schubert and some lighter duets by Schmitt and Chaminade. In solo performances, Isabel will perform a keyboard Toccata by J. S. Bach and Harvey will play the first two Paganini Studies by Liszt.

Admission is 4.
