Irrational Theatre Company, one of the associate companies at the Maltings Arts Theatre in St Albans, has a busy autumn with two productions coming to the venue.
First up, an international troupe of professional singers will be performing Sullivan’s comic opera Cox and Box and Menotti’s opera The Telephone at 7.45pm tomorrow and Saturday (20/21) and next Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28.
It is under the title Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and You!
From November 27-30, the company returns with an altogether different musical experience, Cinderella and The Soul Sisters.
Cinderella gets a magical makeover in a 1970’s Motown production of the classic fairy tale.
Tickets for both shows are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/ovo, by phone on 0844 8700 887 or from the St Albans Tourist Information Centre. Full listings for the theatre can be found at www.maltingsartstheatre.co.uk
