Three-piece band Moones are playing at The Horn in St Albans tonight (Thursday).
They comprise Laurent Barnard, Tariq Khan and Ollie Kristian and will be supported by The Bluebook Project, Treelo and Box the Sky.
Tickets are £4 in advance from www.juiceboxindie.com and £6 on the door.
Appearing at the music pub next Thursday, January 16, are Dodgy who released their last album in February 2012, the first collection of new songs from the original line-up of Nigel Clark, Andy Miller and Mathew Priest since the platinum selling Free Peace Sweet.
With a greatest hits compilation due out this month, the band are playing just three acoustic dates around the country.
The trio got together in 1992, eventually signing for A&M which generated three albums but they always ensured live performance was integral. They split but reformed in 2008 and since then have played a set of reunion shows including a return to the festival circuit and Glastonbury.
Tickets are £14 in advance and £16 on the door.
