The Dire Straits Experience will be recreating the music of the original when they appear at Harpenden Public Halls next Saturday, June 11.
The band features former Dire Straits members Chris White, on saxophone, and Chris Whitten (drums) performing hits including Sultans of Swing, Brother In Arms, Money For Nothing, Walk of Life, Tunnel of Love, Romeo and Juliet and So Far Away.
When Dire Straits disbanded over 20 years ago, they had notched up record sales of more than 120 million albums which continues to increase.
In 2011 The Straits was formed, fronted by singer songwriter Terence Reis after Mark Knopfler had gone on to a solo career. They disbanded and The Dire Straits Experience was formed.
The gig begins at 7.30pm and tickets at £25 are available from the box office on 01582 767525.
