A CONCERT with a difference will take place in a city centre church next Wednesday lunchtime, when the De Parys Trio bring their unusual combination of instruments with them.
The line-up at 1pm next Wednesday, April 25, at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, will include Eric Hill (classical guitar), Jill Hughes (flute) and Martin Hughes (violin).
Their varied programme will include trios by J.S. Bach and Ferdinando Carulli, a Sonata by Donizetti, arranged by Eric Hill for the instruments concerned, and for a finale, Samba Quica from Klaus Wusthoff’s Concierto de Samba.
The concert is free and there will be a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
