Well-known local musician David Wigram is bringing two friends to join him in a lunchtime concert at a city centre church next Wednesday, April 30.
They are the cellist Jessie Ann Richardson and pianist Alex Wells.
The three are professional musicians who contribute to the series of lunchtime recitals at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, which are in aid of
Grove House.
They will be playing a Brahms Trio with viola, cello and piano and then change the mood with the more exotic sounds of Oblivion and Libertango by Astor Piazzolla. David will change to the saxophone for those items.
The free concert starts at 1pm with a retiring collection.
