THE David Newton Trio are appearing at Herts Jazz Club next Sunday evening, October 14.
The trio who recorded Victim of Circumstance on Linn Records, still David’s best-seller, are back in action at the club at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City.
David is one of the heavyweights of British jazz and a master of the jazz piano.
A hugely popular performer at Herts Jazz, he is dripping with awards for best pianist.
The trio also features Alec Dankworth (bass) and Clark Tracey (drums)
The evening runs from 7.45-10.30pm and tickets are available at �11 in advance from http://www.hawthornetheatre.co.uk/whatsonstage.html, �13 on the door and �5 for students and under-21s.
