THE WILLSON Consort, whose members include several prominent local musicians, will be giving the lunchtime concert at a city centre church next Wednesday, June 9.
Among the instrumentalists will be Lynn and Tom Willson, Emma Cannon, Ros Hancock, Julia and Jeremy White with Julia White and Paul Smith singing alto.
The programme at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, will include pieces for recorders by Bach, Blow, Byrd, Charpentier and Purcell.
The concert starts at 1pm and there will be a retiring colleciton in aid of Grove House.
