JOE Orton’s multi-award-winning black comedy Loot is being performed by the Company of Ten from tomorrow (Friday) until next Saturday, June 23.
Orton’s rich dark comedy lampoons social attitudes to death, the Roman Catholic Church and the integrity of the police as two unscrupulous young thieves plot where to hid the large amount of money they have just raided from a bank vault next door to the funeral parlour in which one of them works.
Loot is being performed in the Abbey Theatre Studio and tickets are available from the box office on 01727 857861 or go to www.abbeytheatre.org.uk.
