SINGERS from St Albans were among Rock Choir members who performed to their largest-ever audience at Watford Football Club recently.
Around 180 choir members from the St Albans, Watford and Hertford Rock Choirs joined forces to sing to the 17,000 fans - including Ant and Dec - in the stands for the biggest game of the season against Championship-topping side Newcastle.
Rock Choir leader, Abigail Smith, said: "This was the first time all three choirs have sung together and hearing the rich sound that they created was just fantastic. Their confidence has grown so much since they nervously started back in September. Now we are all on such a high and I am so proud of them."
Established in 2005, Rock Choir is the largest contemporary choir in the UK, providing weekly singing sessions across London and the South for juniors, teenagers and adults.
