The de Havilland Philharmonic opens its season next Sunday, October 4, with a German 19th century repertoire.
The concert will feature Harpenden cellist Guy Johnston, BBC Young Musician of the Year 2000, performing Schumann’s Cello Concerto.
That will be followed by Brahms Symphony No 4 in a concert conducted by Robin Browning.
