Herts Jazz favourite Dave O’Higgins returns to the club this Sunday, April 26, with fellow tenor player from Canada, Phil Dwyer.
In 2013 Phil was appointed as a Member of the Order Of Canada and cited for “his contributions to jazz as a performer, composer and producer, and for increasing access to music education in his community”.
He has had an illustrious 30-year career which has crossed stylistic and geographic borders and included collaborations with other performers.
The evening at the Hawthorne Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, gets underway at 7.30pm and tickets in advance from www.hertsjazz.co.uk/gigs.html are £3 students/£8 members/£10 concessions/£11 full.
