MET by Moonlight is the theme of the lunchtime concert next Wednesday, November 11, at St Peter's Church in St Albans.
It is being given by tenor Bob Niblett and baritone Keith Dobbs, accompanied by Alexander Wells on piano.
The concert will feature works by Schumann, Schubert, Faure, Vaughan Williams and Finzi - all of which evoke strange encounters in windy woods by the light of the moon.
It will also include part of Vaughan Williams' On Wenlock Edge, marking the centenary of its first performance in November 1909.
The free concert, which starts at 1pm, is in aid of Grove House.
